Dr. Elizabeth F. Beadle, DC, MA, CCSP, Dipl.Ac (NCCAOM, FIAMA)

Dr. Elizabeth Beadle is a highly skilled and educated Doctor of Chiropractic and Diplomate of Acupuncture, which is complimented by her compassion and caring for people. She received her Bachelors degree in Life Sciences from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. She then pursued her Masters degree in Applied Physiology from Columbia University in New York City. Following her Masters degree, she attended National College of Chiropractic (NCC) in Chicago, Illinois. While at Chiropractic College, she was the "Physiology Fellow" and taught many classes and labs. She also received the "Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universites Award."

Upon Graduation, Dr. Beadle was hired as a full time instructor to teach "Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physiology." She also practiced Chiropractic at a medical group. She then practiced with the American Holistic Center in Chicago where she was introduced to many aspects of alternative care. In addition, she interned with top orthopedists and physiatrists in Chicago. Dr. Beadle received her Diplomate in Acupuncture through NCCAOM and her Fellowship from International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA). She started a practice with a partner in Rutherford College, NC and then opened Foothills Chiropractic of Hickory in September of 1999. Dr. Beadle has been practicing Chiropractic and Acupuncture since 1994.

Dr. Beadle is a unique chiropractor to this area. She is one of the few doctors who has her Masters degree and Acupuncture Diplomate (NCCAOM and FIAMA). She is also certified as a Chiropractic Sport Physician (CCSP), ACSM Team Physician, Cox Flexion Distraction Technique and Mally Carpal Tunnel Technique. This training has given her the knowledge and ability to thoroughly evaluate and treat a variety of conditions conservatively.

Dr. Beadle is an avid and competitive athlete. She was ranked as the second top female in-line skate racer in the Chicagoland area for two years and selected as one of the top 50 women athletes in Chicago by "Windy City Sports." She also played on the top ranked women's in-line roller hockey team in the country "Chicks with Sticks." The team wom the North American Championship in 1995 and the National title the following year. Dr. Beadle also plays on the Lady Charlotte Checkers ice hockey team. She has also won fastest female skier for the Crescent Ski Council 2008-2009 as well as second fastest female skier every year from 2006-2011 for the Sugar Mountain Adult Ski Race League. She also is an avid cyclist, skier, equestrian and hiker.

Dr. Beadle is very active in the community and is a past member of the Board of Directors at the YMCA and the Salvation Army.
